Taylor Swift has a confidence on stage that surpasses her 19 years. The young star is a world-champion hair flipper, using her golden locks to sell her music for sure. At WE Fest last night she did just that.
She may still be developing vocally, but the voice she has does the job. In short, the package overall is a good show and not just because she’s pretty. She played both piano and guitar, accompanying herself with only the latter ( and a little sparse harmony) for one number. And the breadth of moods in the set was wide. She also taps into that longing of lost love that can take one back to the longings of fleeting youth.
One of the most frustrating things about the concert was related to the distracted, chattering of the intoxicated masses in general admission.
Well, on to Brooks and Dunn.
